I have come to believe that some people pay too much for cell phone. The reason I say this is because I believe many people are not using the device to its fullest potential. Generally all smart phones do the same thing. They have wifi capabilities, the ability to play music, good quality cameras, touch screen. There might be a few different features, but other than that they are generally the same.
My girlfriend says she wants a new phone. She wants the Samsung galaxy s4. I ask her "what are you going to do with it." She says, "I'm going to use it for facebook, internet, music and games, and take pictures and videos. I was like that's it. my phone does that and I have a samsung exhibit. I just don't see the point in paying more for a phone that basically does the same thing. There are multiple devices that do these things but I would not spend 600 bucks for it. Now I know you don't have to spend the whole 600 but still your monthly payments are going to be about like I don't know don't feel like doing math, Imma just say 40 extra bucks a month on your bill.
There are some people who just simply want a new phone because it's the latest. They feel wrong if they don't have the latest. like my coworker. He has a totally workable samsung galaxy note and now he says he wants a note 2 because it has a bigger screen. Like why!!?? why. The note is already a huge phone. With the note 2 you might as well pack a tablet in your pocket. It just makes no sense to me.
Well these are just some of my thoughts on smartphones and the way most people use them. I believe if you're going to do basic tasks like facebook, music, games, and take pictures just find a cheaper phone that has a good camera for you. No use in spending more money for basically the same thing. Kinda like That cricket phone company commercial. would you rather pay $5 for a burger or $10 for one.

Hobbies
Hobbies are great. They help keep you busy, and keep your brain from just sitting up not doing anything.. There are many great hobbies you can try.. Playing sports, Card games, board games, Videogames, Skating, Fishing, Sowing, Painting, Reading. etc...
I do not consider facebook a hobby.. I have no idea how people can stay on facebook all day. I just check it, maybe chat a little bit with whoever is online. Then I get off.. I feel that facebook is not that serious.. I mean it's just facebook. I especially hate when people post stuff like, "going to the store".. I be like ok great.. Like what is the point of you telling the whole world you're going to the store. Another one of my favorite posts. "I'm Bored", Like really!? Go find something to do.. What do you want us to do about it..
If you don't have a hobby I strongly suggest that you find one.. My 2 favorite hobbies are Skateboarding, and playing/making music.. I may not be the best at either of them, but these hobbies, I really enjoy them.. They take the weight of the day off of me.. There are also some new hobbies I'm trying like going to the gun range, and well Writing. I'm slowly getting into the whole blog thing.. Just writing and releasing my thoughts. So go find yourself a hobby. Turn off the TV, get off facebook, and do something..

Who Knew Cars Were this expensive!
When I was younger I didn't understand how to really take care of a car. I just thought you just had to put gas in it. Now I know that there are spark plugs that might need to be changed (about $30), your spark plug wires need to be changed (about $40), your tires wear out and you have to get new ones eventually (maybe about $300), Oil needs to be changed ($30), You have to buy various fluids, and on top of all that, you have to buy your registration and inspection stickers...(about $130)
I actually almost tore my car up one time. I was driving it with no transmission fluid in it. I had just got it and about a month later my dad was like, ay check those fluids.. Now here I am thinking everything was fine since I just really got the car. However that was not the case.. there was no transmission fluid on the dipstick at all. I was shocked... I was like really!!?. I learned something that day. Gotta check your fluid levels..
Now on to my tires.. I knew tires could wear out but I did not know that the thread could be shown.. I rolled my tire so far down that my freaking needles were showing. I was afraid to drive the car after that. Had to go get that tire replaced immediately. that's about 70 bucks right there.
Well I am very glad that I know now how to keep my car in good shape. I know how to change my spark plugs, wires, and oil... I must say it feels good to know how to do that stuff.. and not overpay a mechanic to do simple tasks like these..

Career Paths
By the time you're a senior in High School I heard that you are suppose to know what kind of career path you want to take.. Well here I am in 2013 still don't know what to do. I'm one of those people who needs to experience the job or career to figure out if I want to do it. I believe there should be some kind of job share program where the person just tries the job out for a day to see how it is.. You know.. go there and see what you really have to do, and not those over explained job summaries they give when you are applying for the job.
I am currently going to school for computer programming. I know I am very interested in technology. I like going to frys and looking at the computers, tablets, cameras, televisions, mp3 players etc.. always curious of what will they come up with next.. Getting back to my point... How do I know if I'm making the right choice. I don't want to spend all of this precious time and money going to college and the end result be me in a career of boredom and me wanting to kill myself of how much I hate my life over a decision I made...
Well I hope that I made the right decision. hopefully I won't be doomed.

Adult Skateboarder
Skateboarding is one of my new found favorite hobbies.. But it seems like the older I get the less time I have to do it.. I mean with a job and a girlfriend time has been kinda cut.. I always think about when I have kids how I am gonna only skate every blue moon.. I really enjoy skateboarding. It is a sense of rush and excitement that also helps me release stress..
There are some benefits though.. like you have a car to go to different skatespots and parks.. no more waiting on mommy and daddy. just go when you feel.. Also you can leave on your own time and go eat at your choosing.. I don't think I'll ever stop skateboarding.. #always progressing
well unless my legs fall off..
